Comments: Looking for any information regarding CASU-1 based at NAS Pearl Harbor, Ford Island. This unit was the predecessor of FASRON-11. The designation change occurred on October 1, 1946. I served with these units from August 1945 through December 1946. I am currently trying to assemble a photo and information history of these units dsuring that period

I do not have much information as far as duty station, but I am always looking for more. If you have any info or know anybody who does or who flew with 725, please contact me. Thank you, God Bless, Always Remembered.

Notice to posters

With so many FASRON squadrons, we will not be able to create unit pages
for all of the squadrons that served in Korea or in support of the war.

So, please post your messages here and in the header line, post the
squadron and the time frame. Use keywords for topics and for the body of
your messages, use the COMMENTS section.

Feel free to post web links, reunions, etc. But, please keep the posts
to Korean War era, June 1950 thru July 27, 1953 and for post truce, thru
July 27, 1954.

For other commands use our Conus and Other Commands section of Looking
For at: Conus and Other Commands.

For the period of time after the July 27, 1954 and in service in Korea
or Japan, use our DMZ Vets section of Looking For.

Thanks,

Ted Barker
