Comments: I was briefly assigned to C Btry 6/12 and then transferred to the Personnel section at the HQ Battery. The time in the army in Korea was important to me. It enriched my life--a great adventure. I returned to Korea as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 1972-1975. Many memories. Thanks for the web site.

Comments: I was a Medic in the Aid Station with SSGT Johnson, Kirby, Larry Kradle, Nestares, Altman, Katusa Kim et all 1968-69. For a brief time, I was Lt. Colonel Churchill's driver. Had some fun making music with a bunch of guys we called "Pygmy and the Headhunters". Actually gave a show at RC4, but no one came! Played a little football at I Corp headquarters in Juijonbu (sp?) I'm still in medicine. Went to PA school and practicing in Florida. Still have some drums, but play little. Get in touch. Bruce

Comments: I Corps Arty was organised mostly by enlisted and officer reservists called up July-August, 1950. the T.O. was filled, trained, and organized Sept/1950-Dec/1950 at Ft. Bragg, then to Stoneman by train 2nd week of Jan/51, transport ship to Pusan late Jan, and then field operational early February. Left Korea via Sasebo to ZI mid-Oct, 1951. We listened to MacArthur's farewell address to Congress on AFN while watching Chinese troops headed south on nearby western ridges just below 38th while we waited for traffic jam on MSR to lessen so we could join the exodus, our's to set up again to help toward to their imminent demise in their ill-fated May Day offensive.

Comments: I have just completed a web site showing pictures of the I Corps Artillery HQ during the May to May 1952-53 period. If you were there during that time I know you will recognize many of the locations and possibly some of the people. There are a total of 76 pictures at this time. I just recently rediscovered these pictures that were burried deep in storage.
