Comments: I would like to hear from anyone who recalls any incidents with North Koreans during 1974, especially between June 28 & July 4 where an artillery dual erupted in the Eastern Corridor between NK & ROK forces that was ignited by the June 28 massacre of 28 ROK sailors. Any Manchus out there that were dug in to the left flank of the barrage and remember PVT Brown being Medivaced? Additionally, during the summer 74' casualties, as I recall from Co. A, 1/9 INF, from friendly mortar fire and in September 74' Co. B, 1/9 INF called out to defend a radar site located near the west coast in the vacinity of the DMZ were our unit repelled an enemy force. Two of our soldiers were slighty wounded. Hope to hear from old Manchus. God's speed and best regards to all.

Comments: I was stationed at Camp Page Korea in Jan 1972 to feb 1973. I was just diagnosed with CLL (Luekemia)chronic lympocetyic I Know Agent orange was used in this area because the mountians were barren and an orangish brown in color. I personnally was detailed as a punishment(for fighting) and had to clean out and spray defoilant in a Trench(Kimshi Creek) that cut through the base in summer of 72. I wonder if they knew my punishment was death.

Who would have thunk it! Any one with any further info please contact me?

Comments: I was a medic, 91 bravo, stationed at camp custer from 11-70 to 3-71. Can't remember if it was north or south custer, but I was at the battalion dispensary and the mp detachment was the only other unit on the compound. The 'turkey farm' was the strip of cathouses lying between custer and the 'ville', Paju-ri. a cool tour of duty...10 cent beer, 10 cent cigarettes, free penicillin, slot machines at the em club, and women, women, women. Anybody remember?

Comments: I have spent many years trying to locate this dear old friend. I finally got an email from a young man that was going to help me locate Huh, but my computer crashed and lost his email. I would greatly appreciate it if you see this message to get in touch with me again. I think Huh had just left Inchon, but someone knew where he is now living. Please write again and let me know if you have had any more luck. I am grateful for this website and the opportunity it gives friends and family to learn more of the history of loved ones. Thank you very much!

Comments: I was with D Company, 4th Maint Bn that was at Cp Stanley, but was part of the Forward Det at Cp St Barbara. Would sure like to hear from any of the guys. As most units during that time frame, we worked our butts off during the week, but oh how we partied on the Weekends. We were there to support I Corps Artillery, and spent a lot of time with the 76th and 12th Artillery guys.

I spent 22 years in, and if DA knew how much we partied, they would take my Retirement pay back :)

If any of you guys see this, check out the web page I am making about Cp St Barbara.
