1/82nd FA 5th battalion Bravo battery

Comments: Looking for anyone who knew my father from Korea 1961. He was in 1/82 FA 5th battalion Bravo battery if I am correct. His name is James Ullman and I beleive he held the rank of buck sgt, and drove a duece and a half ammo supply vehicle.. I know in one of his pictures he is wearing a SP helmet by a guard post with the caption reading "Salmon and Ullman" If anyone has any info please get back to me as I'm sure he would be happy to hear from some old buddies.

1969 - 1970 Camp Beard

Comments: Looking for individuals that were with me at Camp Beard and Camp Johnson. I was there from April 1969 thru January 1970. Having trouble with VA claims and need your help proving I was even there. So far, all the treatments that I have had through the VA/Army are showing that my records are screwed up. (Go figure!)

Comments: Now that I've read some of these posts I kinda feel vindicated for my senior moments (haha).I shipped to korea from fort ord,ca after AIT as a field commo crewman end of June 1960, I don't really remember the unit I was assigned to. After a couple of months I got in a fight with my commo chief (he was a jerk)and they reassigned me to the artillery unit (we had 105's & 155's)I drove a deuce and ahalf pulling a 105, I was the #6 gun crew which was made up all ROKS except me and the gun chief, he was a E-6 and I was a Spec4 not to long later our towed 105's & 155's were traded for Sp's with twin caddie engines and twin stick steering, not sure of the nomenclachure.

The only names I can remember are Larry Lee he was from LA, CA, he was the driver for the Co. LT Commander ( a cool dude) and Vukan (don't remember first name) I think he was from Arizona (big russian looking guy) kinda guy your happy to have as your friend especially in a fight. I used to buy the cig coupons from those that did'nt smoke for a buck or two apiece. I still can see mamasan shouting tone pakun da (change money)as she's throwing it over the fence when it came time to change the mpc.

Good times/fading memory's, love to hear from anyone who wants to share their fading memory's.

Searching for grandfather

Comments: I am looking for any info on my deceased grandfather. African-American descent. Died 1964 OR 1965 of traffic accident (in Uijeongbu, I think). Probably stationed @ Camp Red Cloud. Planned to marry a Korean woman (my grandmother), but he died just before they could. Their child was ~7 months old. They first met at the U.S. Army Services Club (Camp Red Cloud), where she worked.

Also, if you haven ANY info on the U.S. Army Services Club, please reply.

Billie Edd Musick

Comments: Billie Edd Musick, my father, served in the U.S. Army at the 121st Evac Hospital during the early 1960's. He often spoke of friends he made at the hospital and serving the Korean people (especially the wounded children) in need of medical assistance. Comments: It was quite some time ago but there are things and people you will never forget. Have been in touch with Bill Deprew and Jim Fish through this web site. How many more are still out there? One individual who Bill and I are trying to get a hold of is John Johnson from Chicago, who back then held a rank of Buck Sgt.; was an RA; 101st A/B; and then spent a 13 month tour of duty in Korea as an infantry man at Company D. Found Edward "Redd" Hamilton in Texas and Chalmers Dewitt in Warsaw, North Carolina. I was known as "Butterball" . We were at Camp Wilson, Korea together. Walked guard many nights and thought we would never make it back home alive. Remember we were sent to guard the Pueblo back? would love to hear from anybody who was at Camp Wilson with me between May of 68 and July of 69. Hung out a lot with the 4th platoon although I was attached to 2nd Platoon. Platoon Sgt. Was Sgt. Wagner from Kinston, NC, and Our CO was CPt. Gonzalez from New York. Comments: I was involved in an accident sometime during my tour which involved a Korean civilian that I ran over with my 5 ton truck. Does anyone remember this accident? I am also looking for anyone that may have developed Hepatitus and Diabetes from being exposed from Agent Orange while I was there. Anyone with any information about me would be greatly appreciated.

Urgent- If you were in a chemical weapons unit between 1960 and 1964 I need to hear from you

Comments: We need to hear from anyone who was in a chemical weapons unit from 1960-1964 and either did spray with herbicides or knows about spraying with herbicides. To push the presumptive date of AO use back to 1960 we must find proof that spraying was done. We have a chemical weapons manual but that isn't good enough proof. We need people to step up and tell congress what they saw and or did in relationship to herbicide spraying. We know that herbicides were used but we don't have anyone who sprayed it saying so.

Comments: My husband served in one of the origional Ghost Walkers units that operated in Korea between May 1962 and March 1964. We are looking for others who served in other Ghost Walkers units. We know that there are others out there and we know that you can't get your records to get your comp claim through. I want to compile a list of others that served in a Ghost Walkers Unit in the 60's in Korea so when I go to congress later this year and bitch I want to have a list of others who have been denied benefits because somebody refuses to declassify our records.

Comments: Yes, there is at least one other of us around. I worked in Maint. supply, played softball on Saturdays, drank alot of OB beer mixed with champagne along with SFC White (high pockets), and did a little fighting outside the EM/NCO club.
