It might have been a great thing a decade ago to find out about Buddies you knew for such a short time, but conditions and life in Korea during the War left a strong lasting impression on us. Our BN baker was a SSGT Mangan, and MSGT Cunningham was jour BN Cook, both served in the Pacific in World War 2. (Great Guys). If your are out there and you remember please respond.

Comments: I served in the 507th from about Nov 1954 until it was deactivated in early 1955. I was then transfered to the UNKMAC support unit at Munsan-ni just south of the DMZ until late 1955 when I transfered to Japan. I don't remember many of those I served with in the 507th but one was named McFadden. We attended Signal School at Camp Gordon, Ga before going to Korea. I believe the 1st Sergeants name was Bonamo or something similiar (the spelling is probably wrong) I have some pictures I would be glad to share if anyone is interested. I have retired from the Army as a CSM and currently work for a Semiconductor Mfg. company in the Dallas, Texas area.

Warren Steele. Our main battle positions were on top of a mountain named Easy Block. I remember the very treacherous road leading to our manned observation post. I had to take many meals to the troops during the extreme winter conditions of 1957. Also spent time on the DMZ when we gave the 19th a break. Also remember manuevers on Icicle Range in Spring of 1957. Anyone else out there want to reminisce?

I was in various companies of 15th Inf Reg from March 1953 thru April of 1954. When first on MLR I was on line behind Outpost Dick. Also worked in Graves Registration and Motor Pool. After 27 Jul 53 I was in Regimental Post Office. Would enjoy hearing from anyone that may have known me at any time I was "over there."

Do you remember the 55th QM Depot NCO Club ?
One of the best NCO club's I later found out for that time in Korea and history. We had the Signal, Medical, Transportation, Engineer, Helicopter, Replacement and 121 Evac Hospital all in the large area.

Comments: I don't now it I can do this or not, but it's a start. Does anyone remember serving with a Gino Gatti from Scranton, Pa. He is my uncle who passed away 3 years ago. He NEVER talked about what he did or how he did during his tour of duty. He served sometime between 51 - 53. I have already downloaded the forms that I will need to get more information on him. But I was looking for something personal about him. Thank you all very much and if this site is not meant for this type of info I'm very sorry. But to me it was worth a chance.
