When I was a kid, he told me great stories about the his tour of duty and the U.S. Coast Guard. His name was Thomas Lawless. His brother was Richard Lawless, they were from St. Louis. Thomas Lawless served aboard a weathership, other than that, I don't know much. If anyone is out there who can tell me anything of my dad at that time, I'd love to hear about it.
