Comments: My Dad, Bill V. Araujo, was in the Korean War. He was in the Chosin Resevoir. To this day, he suffers with old battle wounds, mostly physcial. But, he would not change a thing. I'm sure he'd love to hear from some of his 'old buddies'. He was, and in many ways still is, a Marine. He now lives in Hesperia, Calif. God Bless the Veterans of America.

Comments: Looking for Army/AirForce friends of Arthur C. Wilson. He grew up on Orcas Island, enlisted in the Army/AirCorps, went to Texas for basic, then to Keesler for radio training. He was in Korea in 1951-1954, I have a picture of him and his buddy Cliff Stark taken infront of a barraks unit I think in Tx. The other pic I have is of him infront of a military tent (don't know if its A.F. or Army base). I know dad was assigned to a forward radio operation unit of the Army, If anyone has info on the Air Force radio operators assigned to Army units please let me know. I have several pictures of Korea and where he was but dad never liked to talk about it, now he has passed away and I never got to know about this part of his life. The only buddy I knew he ever talked about in Korea was Cliff Stark, so anyone that can help on information regarding the unit or Mr. Stark please contact me. Thank You!!

I am a member of the Korean War Veterans Association and was just
surfing to see if there was anything new on the KWVA.org site. Then I
followed the link over to see if this site had changed. I am still
searching for AACS friends that also served during the 1951 to 1954 era.
I went through basic with the 3744th, flight 191, then was sent to
Carswell AFB, Fort Worth, TX with the old 1064th Communications Group.
Then they changed our name to the 2048th AACS Squadron. In 1953 I was
transferred to the 2045th at Andrews, and then on to the 244th AACS
Squadron at the Pentagon. My entire service life was spent in what was
called teletype relay control switching centers. My fondest memories
are with friends at Carswell, so if you want to add anything to my guest
registration it would be looking for friends from the 2048th.
