Looking for Clyde Baker; Carswell AFB, TX 1951-53 |

Comments: I am looking for Clyde Baker. That is all the info I have on him at this time. My dad hasn't seen him in over 50 years, and would like someday to know what ever happened to him. I think he was originally from Louisianna, but that is all I have to go on. I don't remember the air force unit but will try to find out.
Dad is 75 yrs old and Clyde baker would be about the same age (+/-)
I have a very hard to recognize picture of both men taken from a frame out of the Motion Picture "Strategic Air Command" which was filmed on location at Carswell at that time. Please contact starfishdex@hotmail.com, if you have any information on this person. If I think you are the clyde Baker I am looking for, or if I think you know the right person, I would love to arrange a re-union meeting.
Keywords: Fellow Intrument Technician who worked with my father. Dad was an Instrument technician on B-36.

Comments: I have no specific information, but am hoping that by some miracle I can locate an Italian-American Korean War vet that had a two sons by a woman in Korea. The sons are currently in their 50s. He came and took the younger son (should be late forties/early fifties in age) from Korea to come to America. The older son stayed in Korea with his mother and was adopted by an American family. His name was Lee Young Ho.
**We are looking for Lee's Father and Little Brother. It is also possible that they are looking for him too? Please email marisolxbonet@aol.com if you may have any information.
Thank you.

He was from Reinersville, OH and did basic training in Texas. Then, he was stationed in the DC area for a short time before being shipped to Germany.
I understand records were lost in a fire in Kansas some time back and this is my last resort. Please email me with info or tips on other links.

I am a member of the Korean War Veterans Association and was just
surfing to see if there was anything new on the KWVA.org site. Then I
followed the link over to see if this site had changed. I am still
searching for AACS friends that also served during the 1951 to 1954 era.
I went through basic with the 3744th, flight 191, then was sent to
Carswell AFB, Fort Worth, TX with the old 1064th Communications Group.
Then they changed our name to the 2048th AACS Squadron. In 1953 I was
transferred to the 2045th at Andrews, and then on to the 244th AACS
Squadron at the Pentagon. My entire service life was spent in what was
called teletype relay control switching centers. My fondest memories
are with friends at Carswell, so if you want to add anything to my guest
registration it would be looking for friends from the 2048th.
