Comments: The above is a picture of a group of men. We believe the man in the picture who did not sign his name was either my husband's grandmother's brother or her deceased husband. Her brother's last name was Metzger from Titusville, Florida, we do not know his first name. Her husband's name was Robert L. White. The autographs on the picture that we can make out are: Sgt. Wright, Major Curt(?) Hogan(?), Sgt. J. Howell, Sgt. M. Weisgarber, and 5 others that we cannot read. Does anyone have any information about this so we can write it down? Thanks.

Comments: I was born and raised in Orono Maine. Joined the Army , 1st batallion 148th, 37th division in April 1953. I was in the reserves and enlisted in April 1953. I would like to hear from army buddies who remembered me.

Willesbarre, Pa to Germany

Comments: Was inducted into the army in Wilkesbarre, Pa Feb 1952 Taken to Ft Meade for indoctrination then assigned to Fort Knox,Ky for basic Training and beginners Tank Training. This was during the Korean War- But instead of being sent to Korea - the first Cav was being decommisioned from Germany and sent back to the states. After Basic - I was shipped to Germany and went through Sandofen?, Augsburg, and finally Henry Kaserne,outer limits of Munchen. The old Walker Bulldog tanks were being decommisioned? and replaced with the new Patton M48 Tank. The second day there was sent to schol and then wound up being a M48 Teacher. School was moved to Bad Tolz - I went with it. In about a year the School was disbanded and I was sent back to Henry Kaserne - any body remember? Thank You

Comments: Looking for birthfather who does not know I exist. I was conceived late November 1957 or early December 1957. My birth mother's name is Norma. Her mother use to do your laundry for you and you met my birthmother going there. My birthmother said you were stationed and being trained at Camp Breckonridge and were shipped out shortly after I was conceived. She tried to write you, but the letter was returned. Looking for Joseph Barrett

Comments: Trying to get some family history. Recently found a letter to my mother-in-law from a PVT Joseph Barrett 28th Infintry Division CO A 628 Med Tk BN. The Airmail Stamp looks like from around 1949-1950 6cents.By the contents of the letter it looks like he was in boot camp. We would like to know if anyone knows if he is still alive or if any of his family is. I believe that he was my mother-in-laws brother.
