Comments: My Father; Olen E. Noble (aka-Bud Noble) Served in WWII and Korea. While in Korea (reservist) He served with Lt. Ralph R. Balestrieri in April 1951 while attach to Company K during heavy Fighting. (there may have been a Stars & Stripes article written at that time about Company Ks supposed demise. I would like to find out about any fellow serviceman at that time that may have also served with my father. Lt. Balestrieri writes in an 1981 letter to my fahter: " While attached to Company K on two different occassion, during the month of April during very heavy fighting 1951, You performed above and beyond the call of duty. Your courage and quick thinking helped considerably in holding company K together on both occassions. You certinly deserve and earned a medal for each occassion, But unfortunately cicumstances did not allow me to put you in for one at the time. I, and no doubt others, remember and appreciate your service."
The Lt. Sent my fahter a personal gift of his apprecaition..... If there is any other serviceman that could bring to light those circumstance we would be so grateful. My fahter (very Humble) did not speak much of the Wars. I was left to discover this information on my own. Thank You

Comments: I am the son of Andy D. Cota, who served in the 833d Signal Service, Fort Gordon from 1951-1952; and at Fontainebleau, France, April 1952 until Feb. 1953. Would be interested to hear from any others of his unit, especially those who remember him. I have scanned in some photos of his friends from his service years and would be willing to share, esp. with anyone who could identify the individuals in the photos.
