Looking for my Father's Bn

Comments: My father is Calvin Rhodes. He would have been Pvt. Rhodes in 1952-1953. He is African-American. He remembers many things about the Korean war but he does not remember his Bn number. He told me that he was not in Company A, B or C. He was at the Headquarters. My nephew who just resigned from the military wants to know.

If this is not it, please let me know so that I may look further.

Comments: Hello, my wife and I are trying to find some info about her late grand father who served with the 9th field artillery battalion in korea....she is wanting to know if anyone remembers him at all...not sure what battery but the name is Olen Eugene Sink PFC type...she never met him he passed away in 1958 of illness. We are currently deployed to Iraq and are hoping that someone remebers him as she has some questions and would like to know what type of man he was. Keywords: My dad served in Korea from 1952 - 1954 in Battery "C", 9th Field Artillery. They were known as "Knatches". He has pictures of: George Settles, Johnson & Roder, Heib, Zajdel & Mr. Holmes. He also has pic.s taken in E. Kumbwa (1953). He'd love to hear from his buddies.

Comments: Searching for information on uncle. In 9th Field Artillery Battery A. Time frame 1925 - 1945. Members name was Alfred Shaw but enlisted under the name of Rolen E. Thomas. Was supposedly under age when enlisted. Born in Ohio, grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan. Mothers maiden name Alice Rogers, married Rollie Edward Shaw 1909. Mother later married Harry Woodman, found in 1930 US Census. Alfred listed as stepson in census. Due to records fire no service record.
