Arnold My dad served in Korea from 1952 until 1953 in the 980th, FA, Bn, A battery. He had taken several picture books full of service pictures including a picture of his battery firing the 300,000th round out of a 105 howitzer some where near the Chorwon area in 1952. Another E-mail had asked for names of A battery servicemen, hopefully these might help: CPL Herman S. Spayed; PFC Ernest Oldham; CPL. Joseph A. Tenoze; PFC Phil Drago; Alvin Bethany; Lowell Karston; Eldon Harvey; Cherry Walters; Bob Miller. He also always identified a Sargeant Skinner who he said was a very fine Black gentleman to serve under. Dad passed away in Sept. of 1997.
