Note: the 92nd AFA, the 96th FAB and the 999th FAB all served in the Northeast sector of Korea under X Corps direction. They supported the 65th Infantry Rgt among others. Primary weapons: 155 MM self-propelled and armored tracked artillery mounted upon tank hulls. The 999 substituted for the 3rd Division's 9th FAB while it supported the ROK's.See: Blair, Forgotten War, pg 408.

The Battery was located in the Worne Valley. The Battery moved to the punchbowl in Feb. 1953. I returned to the Worne Valley, then moved to Mung Dun Ni Valley. In May or June, the Battery moved to Mun San Ni, adjacent to Freedom Bridge and the road to Panmunjom. In July, the Battery moved to Chorwon in the central front and was involved in the last big Chinese push on 12 July 1953.
