Comments: Just curious if anyone knew my grandfather Jack Cherry. He was a surveyor for the building of Airstrips during the war. He was wounded while serving in Korea and received the Purple Heart. My grandmother has some pictures of men that he served with from that time if anyone is interested in having a look. Would be glad to speak to anyone who might have known my grandfather. Thanks.

Comments: I served with the 931st Engineer Aviation Group @ Yong Dong Po from April 1953 thru March 1954. The unit designation was officially switched from 931 to 930 (the original 930 being in Taegu) so regimental hdqtrs. could send the preferred 931 unit to Okinawa as ordered. The last few weeks of my time were spent @ the 811th Engineer Aviation Battalion near Seoul. I have located one friend from 1953 & would be interested in knowing about others. I recall Capt. Bill Killian, Lt. Gene Urban, Cpl. L. Roach, Cpls. Billy Dinsmore, Rodney Otto, John Scuteri, Tom Totushek, Herman Rohr & Bobby Scott.

Comments: Wolud like to communicate with any vet. I'm being treated for PTSD at the present time. I have repressed my feelings and thoughts for some 50 years with the help of gallons and gallons of booze and pills. Need to get things in the open and talk with vets who know what was happening then.

Comments: Looking for any one who might remember my father, Joseph A. Peck. He was in the 930th Engineer Aviation Group in Korea between Jan 1951 and Mar. 1952 and was stationed in Pusan and possibly Seol. He could have been with the 802nd, 811th,822nd EAB or the 919th Aviation Maintenance Company but not sure. Buddies that he knew and served with were: Marstine (Jackie) Blanton from Florida,Clarence L. Harmon and Howard Murray from Missouri. Please email me if you can help.
