I was a member of Headquarters Battery from May 1952 until March 1953
and served as Forward Observer (Recon. and S-2 Sgt.) on the central
front (Kumwha).
If anyone knows the details of what happened to 2nd Lt. Jim Dorland who
was shot down in a forward observer plane in March of 1953 please
contact me. When I arrived home I learned he was killed in action from
his parents but no further information.
I would be also interested in learning how to obtain a copy of the
history of the 92nd AFA while it was assigned to Korea.
