My dad's name is John S. Oberg and he served in the 7th devision 8th artillery command veichal maintenace in Korea in the mid 50's. He was a specialist first class.
My dad is looking for Jacob R. Rendleman who at that time recided in NC and had two sons He was a sargent SFC.
If anyone has any information please e-mail me as this would mean the world to my dad he has been talking about him for as long as I can remember.

Comments: Daughter of Boyd W. Altom - Service Battery Unit: 25th infantry SV BTRY 8TH F.A.BN I am searching for information/comrades that may have served with my father, Boyd W. Altom during the Korean War. He was from AR. and completed Basic training at Camp Chaffee, AR in May, 1951. Later he was stationed in San Francisco assigned to the SV BTRY, 8th F.A. BN, which I believe to be a part of the 25th Infantry Division. He then went to Korea and later Germany. Comments: My father when arriving in Korea was originally with the 7th-57th before being transferred to the 8th Artillery, B Battery, 25th Inf.in July of 1950. He knew so many of those men who died at Chosin. All these years later he is still devastated by their deaths. I wish I knew how to help him.

Comments: I am the neice of 1st LT Harold G. Parris. He was KIA Nov. 6th, 1950. His battalion was captured in an ambush and later killed. He received the Distinguish Service Cross post humously. His mother (now 102 years old) and brother are still living. We would appreciate any contact from anyone who might remember Harold or served with him. Also, Camp Parris in Korea was named in his memory and we have never been able to obtain any photos. Anyone who may have been stationed there and might have pictures, please contact me by e-mail. He was on board the USS Mitchell to Korea on and around 19 Feb, 1953. He
went to Camp Drake in Japan, then to Korea via the USS Gen Nelson Walker,
arriving on or around 16 March, 1953. His unit was at Chunchon, then went
into the Chorwon area on or around 2 April, 1953. His letters mention Tom
Haywood, from Michigan, who was scheduled for rotation on 11 June, 1953.
That is the only information I have on Mr. Haywood. If anyone remembers
