Comments: I was a member of the U.S. Platoon in the 8th Army Honor Guard at Seoul Area Command (SAC) under the command of General Magruder from December 1960 through Jan 1961. Anyone out there with me in 'Frozen Chosen'?

Comments: My company commander, Capt. Sam S. Walker was the son of Gen. Walton H. Walker, 8th Army Commander in Korea. I know that Capt Walker had a very distinctive career and became a Four Star General like his dad. I served with Capt. Walker from August 1950 till Nov. 1950. I am trying to contact him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Comments: I'm trying to figure out the name of the Colonel who headed up Seoul City Command just after Christmas 1953 - my husband's grandpa remembers his name as Coles or Cowles - no first name, but his initials may have been C.W. If anyone recalls this man and could tell me a little about him (or has a photograph), it would be a tremendous help. I'm writing a book about my grandpa-in-law's time in Korea, and this Colonel was tremendously kind to him, helped him out of a jam. Thank you.

Comments: I served in Korea from Jan. 8, 1969 till Feb. 8. 1970 in the 457 Supply CO. I understand the 457th was disbanded about 1973. Not sure of that info. I served with the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg, NC from March 1970 till ETS July 71. Could we find enough people for a reunion? Some names I remember, Danny Staggs (L.A. cop) Steve Wolf, Garmon, Danny Jones went to AK after Korea and went AWOL (last known fact). Danny Scarbourgh, GA became mailman. Others not listed but remembered. Can contact me by email. Check it more than phone, especially during travels.

Comments: would like to get photos of ceremonies during this period. Mine were all destroyed. I was USAF selected to carry UN Colors. Sergeant Holmes was there in the early part of my tour. Can't remember the Captain's name that assumed command. He was Airborne, Ranger, Pathfinder, etc. and not very well liked by the men. Sgt Holmes was great, the best.
