Comments: I would love to hear anyone stationed there Jan 68 to Dec 1969. WOULD LOVE TO KNOW HOW THE OLD CREW IS DOING. LAST TIME I SAW LT SOTO HE WAS A MAJOR IN FT BLISS AND LEAVING FOR RVN. EVEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS I THINK ABOUT THE CREW AND THE FUN WE HAD IN SPITE OF THE HARDSHIP OF SUCH A REMOTE LOCATION.

Comments: Somehow I put the WRONG unit at the header of the listing. That unit (89th Ord. Co.) was located at Fort Sill OK. I arrived there in Fall 1960 and was separated from there in April 1962.

I can find NO evidence of either organization (as if they had fallen off earth). Is there a list of DEactivated units I should check? Thanx/gg

Keywords: Kwiatkowski, Yznaga, Pellegrino, Bertholdt were guys in my Korea unit.

Comments: I'm trying to find anyone who was at this location while I was (July 59 to Jun 60). It was an MSA at a site I recall as Hill 053. There was a ROK compound across the lake from us. I have one humorous non-official paper meant for the family or returnees ("Notice of Return") referencing a "Camp Howard" c/o APO 970 dated 12 Jul 60 which was about when I arrived back to CONUS. I carried mail between 053, a nearby site K-6, K-7 and then to Osan AFB (K-55) during that winter and spring. The paved part of the MSR ended at Osan became "marl" and we were about 12 miles farther south. You turned left (inland) and went up around a lake to our site. The MSA was farther up the hill. Anybody out there?

Keywords: Camp Howard, Hill 053, K-6, K-7, Osan AFB (K-55). Names like Bertholdt and Pelegrino were there with me (I have pictures)

Comments: Hello... I am searching for Army buddies of my father Alan Spencer from Akron, Ohio. He served in 1957-58 and worked on the Redstone Rocket. I'm not sure if this is the correct 89th ordnance or not? Any help is greatly appreciated... Thanks !
