Comments: had earned unit awards and marksmanship awards which were lost in a fire. Everytime I tried to find out info about the war from him it would make him very upset. He was also in the cbs in the navy in wwII.He did say something about the 2nd division 23rd regiment. He died 10/26/2002. when his new wife tried to obtain info on him they said no records existed. Can anybody out there help me find info on my dad. Thank You in advance.
