EDWARDS wrote on June 22, 2000 City and State: WILDOMAR CA Unit: 8TH ARMY PRESS BRIEFING OFFICE Service or Relationship: ARMY VETERAN - KOREA Comments: Nineteen months as 8th Army's Press Briefing Officer's primary noncommissioned assistant assigned to duty at the Seoul War Correspondents Billets where chief duties were to maintain the Press Briefing Room including the briefing maps where we daily plotted the prior 24-hours of combat for use by the press briefing officer in giving the daily briefing. Also assisted in the preparation of the daily communique for release to the press.
