Pulled duty at Gen Mark Clarks Residence 142. Also, stood formation for General William Dean after he was repatriated around September 1953. I have been trying to find any pictures that were taken at the ceremony and would gladly pay for them. I know we had news coverage but am not sure if it was Stars and Stripes, etc. Any help would be appreciated. I rotated out in June w/ 35 points to Tokyo and the Far East Command Honor Guard stationed at the Finance Bldg, Tokyo.

He was involved with processing many soldiers going to Korea. He taught classes on the preparation of wills, etc. My mother and I joined him there and lived first at a palace which had been divided into apartments, and then at Momote Village. Our members include men who helped activate the unit in Manila in 1945, up to men who were in Tokyo when the general left. We even have some old (very old) houseboys and snack bar workers.
