Keywords: 8232 Army Unit APO500 Co. G 1949-1953 was his enlistment He was from Shamokin, PA. 3rd Armor at one point not sure if it was for entire time.

Comments: I am looking for anyone that may have information on my father, CPL Hendrik M. Lubbers. All that I have on him is his DD 214. It states that he was with Headquarters Co, Tokyo 8232 Army Unit, APO 613.

I am researching information for SFC William D. Ajifu, an Army
servicemember on active duty in Seoul Korea. SFC Ajifu recently
discovered that his father Yoshio Ajifu served in Korea during wartime,
as indicated on his DD 214. Decorations and awards include AOM(Japan),
Korean Svc Med w/6 Br. Stars, ROK Pres Unit Cit, 2 0/s Bars, GCM, Nat
Def Svc Med, UN Svc Med.
However, the information available is very incomplete. The only unit
cited is Hq Co, Cp Tokyo 8232 AU, APO 613. This was the 8232d Army Unit
stationed in Japan 1951-53. The Army Center of Military History
maintains no TDA unit records.
SFC Ajifu is very interested in any information on Yoshio Ajifu’s
service in Korea, especially unit assignments.
Any person with knowledge of Yoshio Ajifu;s service or advice on how to
