| MATTHEW DAVIS wrote on April 21, 2012 City and State: HEPHZIBAH GA Unit: N/A Service or Relationship: ARMY VETERAN Comments: Looking for anyone who knew 1st Lt Earle M Davis, Bn Surgeon. Especially veterans, of Company F, who were at outpost QUEEN in October 1952, when it was horribly mortared and soldiers killed/ wounded. My father, 1st Lt Davis, won his Bronze Star with V device for his actions that night. My father, also a WWII vet, passed away in 1993. Thank You. Jim Netland, Lou Nath, Rex Cline and I all knew some of the guys in the 8221st because we were in basic training together at Fort Sill, OK, including Newman, Paquin and Nichols. Keywords: |
