Comments: I am looking for information from anyone about my father who served in the Korean War as a Doctor and was involved in the creation of young dong po hospital korea I belive. He also did some triage I think near the front line, Treated Lepers and worked with orphans. He passed away 10 years ago. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have stories or info about him.
Thank you.

Comments: Hi Frank I knew your Father while I was at the 8209. I thought he was a great guy but then I found out about his drinnking problem. HE spent most of his time as a belligerent drunk who cussed out the doctors and made passes at the nurses. He had issues. I just want you to know the true nature of your fathers reputaion. PLease do not carry on his legacy. Stupidity is hereditary. Just say no.

Kelley McCue wrote on 2003-12-01 15:21:28.0
Comments: My name is Kelley and I am a senior in high school in New Hampshire. I have to write a 20 page report on whatever topic I choose for my english class (it's a requirement for graduating) and my topic is the medical advances made from the Korean War and the doctors and nurses who performed them. I need an interview from someone who was actually working in a MASH unit during the war to complete this project. if anyone is interested please send me an e-mail. The interview can take place online, it would just be answering a few questions, and i could send them to you before hand. So anyone interested, please e-mail me, thanks!
