Comments: Served in Kangnong from 1951 to 1953. We were the end of the airwave. We shot the radio wave to Japan. It was the first time that the signal was shot across the country rather than unit to unit. Looking for information from anyone who served during this time.

Comments: Headquarters was north side Seoul in big Grantite 2 or three story School. Later turned into a college or universary.

Keywords: Was in 304 in '53-54. Had a "good buddy" in 8189th. Just finished a little book, "The War That Wasn't", and still working on expanded version, and don't have ANY info on 8189 but guesses. Would appreciate any info. We were high speed radio ops. Can you help?

Units
8189 was located in Seoul, Korea 50 thru at least 53 and
was made up of 555, 556, 557 and 558 Signal Company and we
were spread thoughout Korea as radio relay sites in Taejon, Taegue,
Yong Dong Po and north to the 38th.
