Comments: My grandfather, Alvin B. Stockman Jr. was a SGT during the Korean War. I'm not sure who he deployed with, but I know he worked with his G-3,KMAG, and worked for a Lt. Colonel during the end of his deployment. If anyone recognizes his name, I would greatly appreciate it if you could contact me. I'm trying to put together some things about the Korean war in recognition and rememberence of his service as I too am now serving active duty as a medic in the U.S. Army. My grandfather is still alive and well, and would be delited to hear from anyone he served with. Please send me an e-mail at shardinferno@hotmail.com or to greg.stockman@us.army.mil. Thanks for your time.

Comments: Please correct the following dates on my previous entry. Aug 50 should read Aug 51 and Sept 50 should read Sept 51. While I was at Camp Wood from May '49 to Nov '50 I was assigned to the Commissary/Ration Breakdown. I'd still like to be able to make contact with some of my old buddies like: Lt Smith, Sgt Thomas, Sgt Hoffman, Combs, Rogers,Bennett,Handley,"Lucky" Santos,Fletcher & Prevatt. Prevatt is the only one I've seen so far.

Comments: When the 21st was moved out in late Jun 1950, members of the station complement stayed behind and were re-designated as the 8022 Support Group. Would like to make contact with other personnel assigned to the unit, particularly the commissary/raion breakdown section. I was reassigned to the 34th RCT at Camp Zama in late Nov 50, went thru staging at Camp Fuji and ultimately arrived in Korea Aug 50. A short time after the 34th was redesignated as the 14th Inf Rgt and assigned to to the 25th Div and replaced the 24th Inf Rgt on line at Kumwha in Sept.50.
