Machinegunner with the 31st Regiment. Got back to my MOS as Combat Photographer with the Photo Section and ultimately became Photo Section Chief. Flew on recon missions in L-19 Air craft, went on "tank shoots" with the 73rd. tank battalion, assigned to the Ethiopian Battalion as a Photo Advisor, crossed the MLR to Photograph the cease fire celebration of the Chinese enemy soldiers after covering the Porkchop Hill Battle July 1953. I saw William Eldriges's post, but do not remember any radio operators. I was out on a radio relay team most of the time at 17th Inf. Reg., and 7th Division Artilery, and at relays in between.
