Comments: I'm Looking for info and patches for my grandfather. He is trying to find a patch like he had when he had just joined the Army. He wore it on his dress uniform when he married my grandmother in 1953. The patch was the "Seven Steps to Hell" with "Barker's Best" below. Any info and/or pacthes would be appreciated.

Keywords: Hello I am looking for information concerning my father Benjamin Cook Jr. who also went by Cookie. I know very little about the time he served and fought during the Korean War. All I know is that he was drafted into the Army when he was 17 and at that time he lived in Dayton Ohio. He has just recently passed away and if any one has any information or pictures who served with my father I would greatly appreciate it and would love to see any pictures that you may have. pipline guards and i & r patrol

Comments: i would like to hear from any member of the co that was involved in the shooting of the koreans that pulled the pipe line apart and the patrol that pursued them after the shooting.at a hamlet we found several dead and a women that was wounded but alive. the women was brought back but later died. her body was dumped in a villiage not far from the camp. a incident report was reported and each member of the patrol had to sign the report including myself.

Comments: As you may already know, the current Army Chief of Staff, GEN George W. Casey, Jr., was born in Sendai, Japan, in July 1948. I am interested in finding out which unit his father, then LT George W. Casey, Sr., was assigned at that time. I understand that IX Corps HQs, 1 Cav, and 7th Inf Div were located in Sendai area during the occupation period. If you have any helpful information, please send me an email.
