His US Army discharge card was signed by Major Wm R. Condos, Arty in 1952. Dad said he was a commando in the infantry, and also was in the artillery. He is now getting some medical help from the VA, but I am trying to get any info that I can on the unit to try and get as much as I can for him. His name is William K. Culler, was called "billy" then, and he spent a good deal of time running an arts and crafts area. I have tons of photos he took, but nothing too helpful to me. I am hoping to link his partial hearing loss to rifle fire, but unless I can prove in some way he picked up a rifle, I get nothing. Anyhow, as an NCO in the SF community myself, I do want to thank you all for you service or for the service of your loved ones.
