Comments: I am replying to SFC Mitchell's note about the Katusa whose arms were torn from his body in the motor pool...

1st of all, HELLO SERGEANT MITCHELL, Waggoner here, at the time PFC Waggoner, I was in your platoon, in F Co., I was the shop supply clerk...

Yeah, I remember that day, it was in the summer of 1980, I didn't see it happen, but I saw the aftermath and the craziness, it was really sad for the guy, but I remember before I left Korea 1/7/1981, that same Katusa (who had been discharged of course) came back to visit the Unit and he had prosthetic arms and actually was smiling...I remember all of us going up to him and wishing him well, can't remember his name, but he was a cool Katusa...

Take care Sergeant Mitchell...Waggoner out here...

Comments: I was looking for anyone who may have known my father Edward Long. I believe he was incountry from the summer of 1953 to the fall of 1954. I have many old photographs and would be willing to share. Any information on the actions of his unit during the war or where to find the information would also be greatly appreciated.
