Comments: I am looking for anyone that might have served with my dad. It would have been right around 1951, or 1952 I believe. I would love to talk to someone that might have served with him, just to know him a bit better than I did before he died. Thank you. I have a picture of him standing by one of the barracks on crutches, not sure what happened to his leg/foot. Never heard any stories growing up.

Comments: Looking for info re: when and where my Dad served - 6th Army Medical Depot APO 301. He was issued Korean Service Medal w/3 bronze stars. He was recalled 10-25-50 at Ft. Campbell, KY as a Cpl. Rec'd rank of Sgt(T) 4-22-51.

He may have been a POW for six months and led an escape of 12 men. My Mother did not receive any mail from him for six months but he did not speak of his time in Korea until his 2nd brain tumor which led to his eventual death.

If you knew him or anything about his outfit, please contact me to help me understand and know what my Dad went thru in Korea.
Thanks for serving in the military. Any info will be greatly appreciated by his family.
