Comments: My father, Pedro Luis Candelario Alicea, born in Lares, PR, served in Korea in 1952-1953 in M Company, 3rd battalion, 65th Infantry. I've heard him mention Kelly Hill and Pork Chop Hill. He passed away on 6/27/2006, at the age of 80. While he was in the hospital he kept mentioning the name "Tony." Does anyone out there, who served in Korea with M Co. know my father, or "Tony"? Comments: I am looking for men I served with during the Korean War.
After coming off line with the 40th Infantry Division, 224th Regiment at the very beginning of February 1953 I was reassigned as cadre to the 65th Infantry Regiment and as a sergeant I helped reform the regiments Heavy Mortar Company. I remained with the company until August 1953. There were some of those men on the ship that brought us home. Anyone who was there at that time or remember me please get in touch.

Comments: I don't have any information on my father Daniel Belfort, who was in the Army/ Korean war? My brother and I were born in 1956 and 1957, so it had to be shortly before then. I don't even have a picture. He died in a fire in Brooklyn, NY, in the late 80's and he was an auto mechanic. Most of his family resided in Saint Croix Virgin Islands. If there is anyone out there who can provide me with more info I may be able to access his military records and perhaps get a photo to have and show my kids. Thank you!
