He passed away June 21, 2004. He had a tattoo on his left forearm of a dragon he had gotten in Hawaii on layover before going to Japan. Does anyone have info on the tattoo design? My daughter wants to do a drawing, but we can not remember all the details. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ms Wanda Burroughs Keywords: Nickname Len |

RAY DAY wrote on May 5, 2005 City and State: Unit: Service or Relationship: ARMY VETERAN Comments: I served with the 95th repro co from Feb of '52 until July of '54. We were first housed in the Isetan Dept Store in Shinjuku and later moved to a new "campus" near Jujo station. Most of the time that I was there we were preparing maps of the Korean peninsula and Manchuria. We also produced the packet of Armistice maps that were used during the ceasefire hearings at Panmunjon. Our operations Sgt was M/Sgt Petroski (sp?) from Hawaii. Also a CWO whose name I believe was Searfoss. Keywords: Stationed in Tokyo |

Some of the names I remember were Lonnie Kirkendol from Tennessee, and Eli Swan from Missippi. There was an old master seargent that was in charge of the unit I was assigned to. He must have had 30 years in when we went to Korea. Keywords: We went to Korea on the USMS ship Patrick. Last duty station prior to being transferred was in Pusan. |
