Comments: I am doing some family research and am looking for info on my Father. He was in the Korean War. I have a picture of him in uniform with one of his buddies whose name I do not know. The pic states that it was taken in San. Francisco California and there are two dates on the back of it, the first date reads: Japan 1948 and then Jan. 12, 1951. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who thinks they may have served with my father and who may be able to identify the unknown man in this photo.

Comments: My name is Jeffrey Knight. My father was Marley C. Knight. He was in this group during the Korean Conflict. My father died in 1971 (Two years after my birth.) I never knew him.
I'm hoping someone somewhere can share a memory, or a story to help me to know what kind of man my father was.

Comments: I am looking for information about my father's unit in Korea. I do believe that he was in this unit but I am not sure. Also I am looking for information on a pin that I found in his box of medals and stipes. The pin is a red shield with a bobcat on the shield with the words "vigilante, accelerate, fortificate" around the bottom.
