We pulled out and went to Uijobu in August-Sept. I spent 9 months with the outfit and went home in May of '52. Most of our time was spent on the Imjim river with the first marine division. I went over a heavy truck driver and ended up being a motor boat operator. all rank was frozen at that time and I left Korea as a corporal. The happiest time was leaving and I spent 2 weeks in Sasebo, Japan before I went home.
