I didn't get to make the trip to Korea, but I layed awake at night thinking about all of my buddies over there. I loved these guys like brothers. He (and the family) are interested in finding information of friends he served with. He would like to know what happened to them after they left Korea, although he is not interested in rehashing the memories of the war itself. However, I am interested in any information whether its about the war or the lives of his friends after it ended. My dad, has told stories of his friends Kenny Stafford, Leo Craps(sp?), Cecil Amaker, Richie Blum, Harold Rohschieb, Harry Rush, William Oxenford, and Isaac Dixon. There are others of whom he only remembers the last name as well. Many of those he served with in Korea were from a detachment from Camp Stoneman California. He also has mentioned a Captain Macelli (sp?). Also if anyone remembers some of the light-hearted "army" songs that were sung, we are all interested in knowing the words! --Thank you!
