Comments: I was with the unit in Japan assigned to the motorcycle section and patrolled the highway between Kyoto and Osaka, Japan. On 1 July 1950 i escorted the advance party of 57 enlisted men and 3 officers to the rail head for departure to Sasebo, Japan. We then boarded a Destroyer and landed in Pusan Korea. The equipment arrived at a later date. I don't know if there is anyone out there who remembers me or not, but if there is i would like to hear from you all.

Keywords: Driver of the Decoy 2 1/2 that was ambushed at 2;00 AM on 3 May 1952. Dan Bush was the co driver on that Patrol We were both wounded and were flown out to the Tokyo Army Hospital in Japan. At the time i was wounded in action i was the Motor Sgt of the 560th MP Company. Cpl Bush and i volunteered for the decoy mission on that night.

Comments: I submitted an entry in 2001 asking for any information on a dear buddy, Donald R. Coe who went over with me on a troop ship. after much searching and much to my disappointment, I located Don's wife who informed me he had passed away two weeks before I contacted her. But, she and I have been communicating via e-mail and last year, she met me in Yuma Arizona in that she had moved from NY to Phoenix and we have established a great friendship since. Thanks to all who may have tried to assist me.

Comments: Currently serving in the 560th and I'm looking to make a webpage for the unit and plan to have a history section. Any phots from this time in the Company's history would be a huge bonus, not only for everyone else out there but it would help me to understand why I wear the Unit citations that I do.

Comments: I went to Korea with Donald R. Coe and we both went on the same troop ship. We became good friends and saw each other in Pusan, Korea a couple of times when he came down. I do not know what uni he was in but I believe infantry and was a draftee. He quickly rose to the rank of master sergeant so assume he was in combat most of the time. He was from Albany New York. Anyone who knew him p[lease e-mail me.

Keywords: Don and I went over on same troop ship.

Comments: Would like to hear from you. I hope that you have information on Linwood Hutchinson. He was my Best Man at my wedding in 1952. Lost track of him over the years. Hope he is still living. Kenneth E Taylor Sr

Keywords: My Best Friend while in the unit was S/Sgt Linwood Hutchinson. We lived in the NCO tent on the left as you entered the walled compound that we were quartered in. Our MP Station was located down Town PUSAN. I use to drive patrol in the city in MP Jeep. Some times I would travel all the way out to the check point that had two MP's on duty way out pass Hialeia. Do you remember the Truck that we mounted armor and Machine guns on and was made to look like a regular truck for convoy duty escorting convoys out of Pusan. When the enemy attacked the canvas was dropped and the machine guns would fire protecting the convoy from the enemy in the hills. Have you heard from any other memebers of the unit.
