Comments: I arrived at the 560th at Cp Howard in May 1978 -- was only there about a month and was sent down to the 545th at Cp Humphreys for a 90 day temporary rotation, but ended up staying there for my whole tour -- while at Cp Howard I did hang out with Larry Hale and Dave Kaul. Anyone who was there at that time, drop me an email.Good times.

I have lost track of the guys I served with but now my son has joined in U. S. Army last November 2003 and is in basic training at FT Jackson, SC. Now I am reliving my days in the army again.

Dear Mr. Barker,
I served with the 560th Medical Company (AMB)(SEP) from l954-1956 and
would like to correspond with any of the fellows in that unit, if
possible. The 560th was located just north of Seoul and they brought
most of the POWs across freedom bridge at the war's end. The unit was
under the Eighth Army. The unit had quite a history during WW II and
during the thick of the Korean war. Even though it was not a fighting
unit, they sustained quite a few
causalties.

Possibly you could advise me what steps I should take to make contact.
Thanks for your
help.
Regards, George King
