Comments: My father 1st Lt. Frank R. Garvey, served in the US Army, with the 510th truck company in Korea from 5-17-1952 to 6-14-1953. He went through UC Berkeley ROTC before the war. Would like to hear from former members of the 510th truck company that may have known him. Also desire to learn about your reunions and attend them. My father died in 1982 and no oral history exists except written documents, uniforms and home movies he took in Korea: of other soldiers and the Korean people. As a CW2 Historian with the California State Military Reserve I have done over 100 oral histories of WW II, Korea and Vietnam veterans on digital video tape.
