ROBERT RICHARDSON wrote on November 8, 2007 CITY AND STATE: UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: ARMY VETERAN Comments: Keywords: I was with the Signal Corp. and TDY'd to the 47th OLAM in Korea around October '50 until I rotated home in December of '51. We repaired and maintained the radio equipment on aircraft starting with the L-4's and L-5's, and then the L-19 Birdog, Hiller H-23 Helicopter and the Bell H-13 Helicopter. My last location was outside Yongdongpo (not sure on spelling) after being chased out of North Korea after the Chinese entered the conflict. Anyone else remember this unit in Korea?

I have a large patch from a friend who passed away. It is 11 1/4", says 46 TAAM CO, KOREA, CHOPPER DOCTOR.
