He passed away on June 6, 2000 and is buried in the National Cemetary in Houston, TX. He never talked much about Korea and I really never got to know him well. I am looking for anyone who remembers him and can tell me something about him I don't know. His cousin and him joined the 45th Recon in Claremore just prior to the units activation for the Korean War. My uncle has cancer and does not have long in this world. He was a young man when he join the 45th with his cousins. They were wanting to make some extra cash on the weekends. They got whole lot more. His cousin was killed in Korea.
