| STEVEN MCKEEL wrote on November 11, 2010 CITY AND STATE: TONAWANDA NY UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: OTHER Comments: I am looking for anyone who served with the 44th Surgical Hospital in S. Korea in 1955. I was born in S. Korea and was adopted by an American serviceman named Gordon Peterson. He served in the 44th and the only other name I have is an Army buddy named Jerome Heinrich. I am just looking for info about this unit and where it was stationed in Feb. 1955. I believe it was near Chunchon, S. Korea. I am looking for background on my origins although coming to the United States was the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm just trying to fill some holes in my life if possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated especially if you knew either Gordon Peterson or Jerome Heinrich. Keywords: Looking for members of 44th Surgical 2/55 |
