Comments: A number of people stationed in Taegu, South Korea from 1957 to 1974 will remember their contract Chaplain Father Meeus. Unfortunately, Father Meeus, Belgian like me, died at the age of 64 in May 1974. I am producing a biography of his life (he was also chaplain for the 14th Air Force the Flying Tigers during world war II in China). I am aware that a few people have contacted your site to find information about Father Charles L Meeus. He was also known as Father Plum Blossom, Father Charlie, The moose. If you want to know more about this extraordinary missionary's life, please get in touch with me. Thank you.

My father, Clifford "Cliff" CUNDIFF served with these men and I have photos with the following noted on the back. Unfortunetly there are no dates on these photos like the others. I do know dad served between 1948 and 1951 though.
Or is you knew any of the following please contact me.
Irwin LAMPHERE ? BAZEL Richard M. WINCHELL or WINCHEL ? BARNES (possibly from Indiana as Ind. was in parenthese by his name) ? CASEMAN ? BOLIN Lester L. BOLTZ....I have come in contact with his widow ? MATTARELLA or MATTERLIA ? GUIGER or GRIGER ? COFFEY ? MATHUES or MATTHEWS ? SARTENIO

Comments: I am a collector of US military steel helmets. I am researching a Korean War medic's helmet that I recently acquired. It has the name, "Rocky DePaulo, Brooklyn NY" painted on the inside, as well as "421st". The helmet has four Geneva Convention-style Red Cross emblems painted on it, as well as a NCO stripe on the back. Don't know if "421st" indicates the 421st Med Coll Co., but would like any info if available. Thanks.
