In 1950, the 3rd Infantry Division deployed to Korea and became part of U.S. Army X - Corps. During 1950 the 3rd MP Company, 3rd Infantry Division participated in the Korean Conflict in the following campaigns: Chinese Communist Forces (CCF), Intervention, First United Nations (UN) Counter Offensive, CCF Spring Offensive, UN Summer - Fall Offensive, Second Korean Winter, Korean Summer - Fall 1952, Third Korean Winter, Korean Summer 1953. The 3rd MP Company was awarded an Army Meritorious Unit Commendation, the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation for the Uijongbu Corridor, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation for Iron Triangle and the Chrysoun Aristion Andrias (Bravery Gold Medal of Greece).
