LORAH BODIE wrote on August 14, 2006 CITY AND STATE: UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: Hi, I know this is a shot in the dark, but I am looking for my biological father who served in Korea in the 1952-53 timeframe. I know very little about him, but have some non-identifying information from the adoption agency that lead me to the Korean War Project Website. I thought maybe someone would remember a guy, about 19 or 20 years old at the time, possibly from Utah (I was born at the LSD Hospital in Salt Lake City on June 9, 1953), who worked for a mining operation before enlisting in the Army Air Force. He was of Italian heritage, had two sisters and three 1/2 brothers, all younger than he was. His girlfriend was a Mormon/LDS girl, about 20 years old and pregnant when he enlisted. The information I have says he was 5'9" tall, 164lbs., a good singer and dancer. In addition to locating actual MPC, I would like to talk/correspond (email or snail mail) with finance personnel involved with finance operations. I would like to locate pictures showing MPC in use on payday, in poker games, in clubs, anywhere. The MPC does not have to be identifiable, just visible. This is part of on going research.
