8TH ARMY COMMAND INSPECTION TEAM

Comments: LOOKING FOR ANYONE IN THE TEAM THAT WAS HEADED BY 1ST LT BARKER. I DID THE PARTS INSP. FOR DEADLINED VEHICLES. PRIOR TO THIS I TOOK CARE OF PARTS SUPPLY FOR THE 38TH ORD CO. AT THAT TIME, BURT BARR WAS THE CO. CLERK. HE LIVED ON LONG ISLAND AS I DO BUT LOST CONTACT WITH HIM MANY YEARS AGO. I WOULD LIKE VERY MUCH TO SEE HIM AGAIN IF THATS POSSIBLE.ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW OF HIM???????

Comments: Was in Chongdo when attacked by N Korean irregular. Sgt Mccraken and I were awarded the Bronze Star with V. The date was Sept. 19-20 1950. Would like the hear from any member of the 38th. Thanks

Comments: Remember a camp mascot named Case Jones. Sgt Griggs wanted to adopt him and move back to Portland, Oregon. This was 1954-1955 period. Any information if they made it appreciated.

Comments: THERE IS A 38TH ORD ASSOCIATION WITH MEMBERS DATING BACK TO 1942. IT IS AN ACTIVE ORGANIZATION WITH REGULAR NEWSLETTERS, AND WE HAVE A REUNION EVERY TWO YEARS. IN 2002 IT WAS IN INDPLS, AND NEXT YEAR IT IS PLANNED TO BE IN BRANSON. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE UNIT WHOM WE HAVE NOT CONTACTED YET TO BECOME PART OF THE ASSOCIATION.
