Comments: I am the Director of a historical organization seeking to locate information regarding Private Harry Leon Wilson as well as procuring a proper memorial and medal presentation for his family that was never given over 50 years ago. Private Wilson was a rarity in that he was a member of an all white regiment. We are seeking anyone who may have been with him at camp 5 or would remember seeing him. Wilson who is from Tennessee was a member of the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. Captured November 27, 1950 in North Korea and died February 8, 1951 in Camp 5. His remains were returned several years after his death under "Operation Glory". Anyone with information or photographs please call or email us at anytime. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Comments: I'm mainly looking for any medal information to make my grandmother a shadowbox to honor my grandfather's service. I'm serving in the AirForce now and realize how important it is to remember those who served before us. If you have any information reguarding medals or ribbons awarded for service during the times listed please send me an e-mail. My grandfather was awarded a bronze star but never said why. He never talked about his experience during the war until a few years before he passed. He found some army friends and things started comming out but it was only to his buddies. I only know bits and pieces from overhearing his conversations. Any info would be great. Thanks.

He served in Korea and was awarded 2 Bronze stars. Trying to find anyone who knew him and give us some history on his service in Korea. We can not find any paperwork other then his disharge which is real hard to read, so we are going to try St Loius and the VA , but would also like to hear any personal stories anyone would like to share with us. Comments: I found a picture of my uncle. His name is Fleming Jacobs. He is in a picture with another guy. The picture seems to be taken at a carnival or amusement place. They are standing behind some jail bars. My uncle is wearing his uniform and the other guy is wearing a white button up shirt and uniform pants. I know it is a long short but any info would be greatly appreciated. My uncle died September 24, 1951. I am putting together an album on him (in his memory), it contains his flag from his casket, his army picture and his medals. I would like stories to go with it. I would like to know who he was.

Comments: My father has a picture of a soldier named Clouse (spelling??). In the picture my dad and Clouse are standing brushing their teeth with all their gear surrounding them. I have an electronic copy of the photo. The KWP list three Clouses, but I don't think it lists the Clouse were are looking for. The Clouse we are looking for was in the 25th Div., 35 Infantry, H Company. He would like to send the picture to Clouse's family. If you have any infomation please call Joseph Albert at 978-741-7960.

Comments: My great uncle was declared MIA in 1950. Until the day my grandmother passed away in 1982, she believed that he was alive. Since then, his status has been updated to MIA, died while missing. I guess its hard to understand how they can know when he died, if they still have yet to find his remains. I realize that there are ongoing DNA testing, etc. I hope to one day know what really happend to him.

He was very young, as they all were. I am told that he left home after a fight with my grandfather and enlisted. I can only imagine the fear instilled in him during those times, and how lonesome he must have been not writing to his familly, but a couple of times. I also can only imagine the pain my grandfather must have carried with him until the day he died, knowing that his son died under those circumstances.

I have only seen one picture of him, and would very much like to learn more about him. He was from Grafton, MA.-

Thanks so much for your time, your memories and your compassion.

I can be reached at arthur4996@AOL.com
