Comments: My father is a Korean veteran serving from Sept 1952-Sept 1953. His name is S.E. Stanley (Gene) serving under a Dr Abercrombe (not sure how he spelled his name) during 1952 & 1953. He has a lot of memories both good and bad of the group he served with. They recently had a reunion in Lewisburg,WV that he thoroughly enjoyed. He has often spoken of Lt Abercrombe as being so young, so smart, and so much fun. In 1972 we took a vacation and I remember spending half a day trying to find him in a phone book somewhere in Arkansas. With the time that has passed Daddy has forget Dr Abercombe's first name and now isn't sure if he lived in Hot Springs or Little Rock. Dr Abercrombe would have been about 25 years old when they served together. It would mean a lot to my dad to know what happened to his friend and other friends he served with. He say they were all closer than even brothers during that time. If anyone served or knew someone who did he was in the 25th Infantry Division, 35th Medical Company based in Hawaii.
Keywords: Small mobile medical company serving in the early 1950's near the front and on the front line Christmas 1952.
