Comments: I was a truck driver in the 504 th light truck co, from l953 to 1954 in Seoul,we were in the last prisoner transfer from Panmunjom, of Chinese prisoners that refused to go back to Communist China. We took them down to Ascom City for boarding on LSTs for transport to Formosa. I would like to hear from anyone in the 504th from l953 to 1954.I have many questions to ask. I am writing a book for my Grandchildren to help them understand what the Korean War was really about. As for myself, most of my time there was spent hauling ammunition, fuel and food all through the mountains, plus pol, jet fuel, and chinese prisoners.I would also like to find out why I drove all over Korea for forteen months and 21 days with no ammo for the 30 calibre carbine that was my constant companion.I hauled plent of ammunition but only recieved it for myself when on guard duty at night.I would also like to hear from anyone from the 726th and 74th light truck companies.I was a squad leader in the 726th and a section leader and acting Sgt.in the 74th although I was offically a corpral.Rank was frozen. The 726th was by Kimpo air Base and my last outfit, the 74th was just south of Uijonbu,by a little stream.I would like to hear from anyone. Also would like to hear from the guys I was leading in a convoy, hauling ammo in the mountains and almost left this world from friendly artillery fire. One round. Thanks, Jack.E.Keech.

Comments: Carl "Bud" Hornburg is celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary and his children are attempting to locate Chaplain Schuyler Marshall who "Bud" drove for in Korea sometime between 1951 and 1953. We hope to make this part of a "this is your life" portion of the celebration. Bud was assigned to the 70th Transport Truck Battalion. Would appreciate any information concerning the Chaplain or any other's who might have served with Bud.
