Comments: Looking for anyone who knows about CPL Elwood M. Truslow L Company, 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. His birthdate is Feb. 28, 1930 and was from Batesville Virginia. I'm told he may have been a cook in the Army. I am his niece and two of his sisters have given blood for DNA testing. He is listed MIA December 12, 1950, presuming dead. He was Caucasian, dark hair, dark skin and nice looking. Did anyone witness him getting shot?

Comments: I am the nephew of a SFC Travis O. Bounds who was killed at the Chosin Resevoir on 3 Dec 50. My Uncle served with the 31st Infantry Regiment and hails from Deadwood, Texas. Comments: For a study of the casualties incurred by TF Faith (31st Regimental Combat Team) from 27 November 1950-03 December 1950, I would like help in determining individuals unit assignments.

Using the KWP and a 7th Division site I have been able to populate databases with the information related to the units of TF Faith. However these records only provide unit information to the regiment level. In order to make sense of the records as they relate to TF Faith I need to find an individual's Battalion, Company/Battery and Platoon level (if possible) for the units listed below.

I am particularly interested in obtaining copies of contemporary documentation (rosters, morning reports, special orders, reports, letters, etc.) that may aid in these identifications. Lists of names and unit designations of individuals that you recall would also be of interest.

Comments: My Uncle's name is Morris Sophus Mickelsen. He became Missing in Action on October 14, 1952. My nearest guess is on Triangle Hill. I am not sure what company he was with. Comments: My uncle was MIA on 12-1-50. He served in the 31st Inf. 7th Div. M Company. The Army now has him classified as KIA. According to the Army in order to change it to KIA from MIA, there has to have been more then one report of what actually happen to him. His name was Lowell (Wayne) Bellar. Comments: Still looking for Jack Slack, RA12370942, Hq Co 1st Bn 31st Inf Regt, Korea 1951-52. Met with Stan Kujawski, Bob Breda and Don Chandler in Chicago/Crown Point, last May. Have found and corresponded with Jim Furnier in Stout, Ohio. Just three weeks ago found and talked to Roland "Londo" Leuter, now living in Las Vegas. Have not spoken to him since Feb of 1952. We have talked half dozen times on phone, swapping pictures, but still can't find Jack Slack, once of 17 Van Schoick Ave in Albany. Has anyone seen him since he came home from Korea?
